| Mar 16, 2010 4:20 PM | - Kevin: | I literally have my PHB and a new Character sheet in my bag, but I just found out I have to work late tonight. A 1,000 apologies for backing out last minute Graham. |
| Mar 14, 2010 6:00 PM | - Jordan Hampton: | I really like that MYRE Shaun. One of my favorite mods. Actually having to pay attention to the story was something new and different from most LFR games lol. |
| Mar 14, 2010 1:26 PM | - ShaunH: | Two main design goals for MYRE1-2 that need evaluation: 1) In most LFR modules narratives are generally negligible "blah blah blah" that eventually tells you where to find bunch of things to kill and you win. Design goal was to have narrative that directly adds to and connects to the combat itself and rewards people for paying attention. 2) Multi-dimensional combat. Most LFR combat are very straight forward and predictable. This module experiments with concepts such as secondary objecti |

| Mar 14, 2010 9:19 AM | - Jim L: | Cancelled MYRE1-3, as am sick. |
| Mar 13, 2010 10:37 PM | - ShaunH: | Running my MYRE1-2 one last time and get some more feedback before I start writing its sequel! Intro to the module: A creature of darkness has been lurking in the capital city of Aglarond. Strangely, it has only been attacking adventurers, and only in Old Velprintalar, the slums of the city. The inn keeper of the Bubbling House has taken it upon himself to pay for help to resolve this problem, but not many adventurers are brave enough to hunt the thing that hunts them back. |
| Mar 13, 2010 3:24 PM | - Saj: | cool. thanks for the info, Shaun. |
| Mar 12, 2010 12:46 PM | - Tommy T: | I love TYMA1-5. Such a fun mod to run! Mwuahaha |
| Mar 10, 2010 6:02 PM | - ShaunH: | not sure if people would see the answer to your Q as spoiler, so i'll just email u, Saj. |
| Mar 10, 2010 4:35 PM | - Saj: | Good to hear. I am glad i am not dead (i was 20 xp from level 4). That was an awesome fight, though. Good job all around. Especially with that Ant, where did you get it from? |
| Mar 10, 2010 11:38 AM | - ShaunH: | but given our average party levels of 1.1, we really should've thought twice about playing high. haha. |
| Mar 10, 2010 11:31 AM | - ShaunH: | we actually survived after John let a few things slide and we managed to kill you know who before he killed us. I checked PHP afterward and triggering surge on a dying PC with 0 surges remaining does bring him back up to 1HP!! (see the dying section of PHP and not the healing section) lol |
| Mar 10, 2010 1:43 AM | - Saj: | anyone know if we had a tpk in last week's TYMA1-5? |
| Mar 8, 2010 11:07 AM | - ShaunH: | How many times have we ran WATE1-5 recently? It starts a major quest and all. If it hasn’t been ran too many times recently, I suggest someone who needs point to set up a table for it. :D Consult this thread for a list of LFR modules and ratings! http://www.meetup.com/NYC-DND/messages/boards/thread/6922056 |
| Mar 1, 2010 9:45 AM | - Jim L: | I wrote part of the MYRE for John, seeing as how he posted on the Meetup board forum thread with a request for an encounter of a particular type. Since John doesn't have a level 11-14 character, I made the game a MYRE1-3 (level 7-10) instead. It's "The Night Carnival" - blurb to follow. |
| Mar 1, 2010 9:43 AM | - admin: | Jim L canceled MYRE1-4 |
| Feb 23, 2010 9:33 AM | - Andrew K.: | Heh, I'd play P1, but I don't have any P1 characters anymore. |
| Feb 20, 2010 8:53 AM | - admin: | Alex canceled TYMA1-1 |
| Feb 19, 2010 4:28 PM | - Jim L: | Although I listed it as MYRE1-4 for levels 11-14, I can change it to level 1-4, 4-7, or 7-10 IF I have plenty of notice. I put up a thread on the Meetup group to survey potential players; please check the RPGA forum. |
| Feb 19, 2010 10:51 AM | - John: | Alex: Yes, it's possible. You just need to get yourself registered on WPN for Public Play venues. Request Citicenter. Then just hope that they actually add the module in a timely manner...that last part can be hit or miss. |
