Feb 24, 2012 2:52 PM - Tracy: Also I moved the next game to a Tuesday. Check it out if you can!
Feb 24, 2012 2:51 PM - Tracy: If you haven't voted, get in here and give your friends points. :) Next time they'll return the favor I'm sure.
Feb 20, 2012 3:57 PM - Rob P: The sea crow is a very very common bird genius to the islands surrounding New York. That could have been any crow, that happens to curse in ancient gaelic!
Feb 20, 2012 1:10 PM - Tracy: How did you splat on the inside of the wind shield then? :p
Feb 20, 2012 11:33 AM - Rob P: Hey now, wait a minute. That boat was totally there when I got here. ::::looks to the sky and whistles innocently
Feb 20, 2012 11:22 AM - Tracy: Voting is up! And if we're speaking of bills...I think we need to calculate collateral damage as well...
Feb 15, 2012 4:40 PM - Rob P: Lucas's bill from the adventure? Lol
Feb 13, 2012 1:51 PM - kentmagus: Thief's fee: 20 dollars
One Cruise Line Ship 50,000 dollars
Making a Demon Lord from Hell a White Court Vampire's Sex Slave: Priceless.

Feb 12, 2012 11:45 PM - Tracy: I will update the adventure posts, wiki's, and characters (although all are welcome to contribute). Since there are roughly 11 of us now that are playing in the campaign and there are always different people each session I am going to split this into a twice a month thing running 1 on a weeknight and 1 on a weekend. The story will always move forward and you'll influence each others stories all the same. Join when you can but be mindful that more than 5-6 slows it down. :)
Feb 12, 2012 11:41 PM - Tracy: Great game today everyone! I've created an Obsidian Portal page for this campaign for us to start a journal of events through your characters eyes. Just create a Journal Wiki and a Character version of yourself. (Some of you have NPC versions, but since you decided to play them as characters - things have changed.)
Feb 12, 2012 3:30 PM - Romo: But being an idiot I forgot my character sheet... I'm pretty sure I remember the important skills and refrsh I just don't remember all of my aspects
Feb 12, 2012 3:27 PM - Romo: Yeah I will be there at like 5:30. I'm running over from work.
Feb 12, 2012 8:28 AM - Tracy: Anyone hear from Romo? I believe he's still coming tonight. (I hope so - we need Our Knight of the Cross)
Feb 12, 2012 7:48 AM - Tracy: I've opened up to 6 players so those that want to join from the previous session can.
Feb 12, 2012 7:26 AM - Tracy: Due to lack of players signing up I moved the earlier session to next week so this will be the only one running today. We're starting at 4 o'clock for those that haven't played before to do character creation and introductions to our world.
Feb 10, 2012 10:52 AM - Rob P: I'm still down for playing both, but I realized the limit was five and I didn't want anyone thinking there is no room for more players.
Feb 6, 2012 4:08 PM - Xerek: @Tracy I was thinking of doing a white court vamp focusing it as a succubus kind of character. charming the pants of anyone I encounter. Let me know if that's duplicating other chars
Feb 6, 2012 3:57 PM - Ross H: Ah, cool. Yeah, I was thinking of the "minor talent" template, with the gaseous form ability as my one ability, complemented with lots of sneakiness. I'll put together some of the mechanics and see how it looks - just a normal dude who can turn into a cloud. You're right, though - need to figure out *why* I can turn into a cloud!
Feb 6, 2012 3:55 PM - Tracy: The way the game stats it out is that if you are 'pure mortal' you do not get any supernatural powers. Maybe you have some sort of tie to an outsider or scion (like Kinkaid) and aren't pure mortal...then you can take stunts and powers (avoiding the superhuman toughness, recovery, strength, and speed trees to have a more 'squishy' mortal feel - which shouldn't matter if you're never seen). ;) As of yet our cast of characters is lacking a major 'burglar and sneak'. I'd suggest Stealth, Alertnes
Feb 6, 2012 3:23 PM - Ross H: Sounds good. I'm considering some kind of sneaky-type guy who's really good (through a combination of magic and other abilities) at getting in and out of places unnoticed, but that's just my working idea. TJ, would you be okay possibly with a minor talent with a -2 refresh ability (gaseous form, or whatever it's called)? Just seemed interesting, but I don't really have a sense of if that's pushing up to a "too powerful" level for a mere mortal.
Feb 6, 2012 3:21 PM - Tracy: I can move to 5:30 and extend the 1st session a bit. Is everyone ok with that...will look at ending at 9:30. For those of you that haven't created characters yet, come at 4:30 and we'll do that and flush out your aspects before Romo shows up.
Feb 6, 2012 3:16 PM - Xerek: I'll second that Ross (both points actually)
Feb 6, 2012 3:08 PM - Ross H: Also, TJ - it'd be great if for the new folks we could get capsule summaries of the characters already playing so we don't accidentally end up making something *too* similar!
Feb 6, 2012 3:08 PM - Ross H: How late/long do you expect this to go, btw? I'd prefer not to have TOO late a night on Sunday.
Feb 6, 2012 2:29 PM - Romo: Interesting now I'm not banned? But yeah if we could push it to 5:30 that would be awesome
Feb 6, 2012 10:18 AM - Bob Bobberson: Hey I could actually make this one if it was pushed back to start at like 5:30...says the Caleb o toole
Feb 2, 2012 6:39 PM - Xerek: Yeah, I got it
Feb 2, 2012 6:28 PM - Tracy: Of course buddy,do you have the .pdf of the book? If not I'll hit you up with it.
Feb 2, 2012 3:59 PM - Xerek: Cool, so I should create a character at those stats? @Tracy, would you be available to help with the design a bit as i'm just now getting into DFRPG? Contact me at mark.campbell@db.com if you wanna help.
Feb 2, 2012 3:36 PM - Rob P: Yep to 11 refresh and yep to 36. We had 35, and u said we gained 1 skill point after the session
Feb 2, 2012 2:50 PM - Tracy: I believe we've surpassed levels as persented in the book...someone help me out but I think after last session it was 11 power points and 35 or 36 skill points.
Jan 29, 2012 6:14 PM - Xerek: @Tracy Def interested, trying to digest what I can. looking at character creation...Haven't finished reading yet, but what power lvl will we be playing at?
Jan 26, 2012 12:33 PM - Tracy: Based on number of people that are signed up it looks like anyone who wants to play both can. Somehow...it's still going to take place in a parallel time line. ;)
Jan 26, 2012 12:31 PM - Tracy: Don't worry too much about mechanics, it will come naturally to you as we play. Just look at character creation and come up with an idea as fun as you want to make it, I'll help you flush out a character.
Jan 26, 2012 9:47 AM - Ross H: I'm considering either a minor talent or focused practitioner just based on the concepts, haven't really reviewed the mechanics yet.
Jan 26, 2012 9:44 AM - Ross H: Tracy, how much character planning should I do in advance of this? Are there issues of fitting in to a party (e.g. role balance) things I should be thinking about, or just make something fun?
Jan 22, 2012 1:25 PM - Ross H: Right. I can read. Sometimes.
Jan 22, 2012 12:07 PM - Tracy: Drow's are on Saturday. This is for Sunday so I should be able to swing it. :)
Jan 20, 2012 4:37 PM - Ross H: Tracy, how's this going to fit together with Rob's Drow game (which you're in), timing-wise? That could make for a very long day of gaming.
Jan 18, 2012 5:22 PM - Tracy: With the Genius Loci in a cemetery in queens fighting necromancers - there is a sudden move for power around the Islands...in particular, for the ley lines.
Jan 15, 2012 9:35 PM - Tracy: This will take place in a parallel timeline to the other story. If you played last time and didn't get into the earlier session, I have a very valid reason you would be here instead of sticking around to watch an enormous hole grow in the cemetery ground. I also have a way to compel you to do so. ;)
Jan 15, 2012 9:25 PM - Tracy: Since there was a lot of interest last time, I'm running two separate games in our same world. My goal is to run two stories in the world we've created at the same time and allow people to pick and choose between which adventure path they want to take. It's okay to sign up for both only if it doesn't bump someone off that isn't in the other game.
