Mar 19, 2013 11:19 AM - Rob R: Thanks Dan for running this. Awesome job. Thanks to the group for a fun time. Wish my dice rolls weren't so craptastic last night.
Mar 11, 2013 1:12 PM - Tracy: Just to confirm tonight we're going to find that traitorous Iron Whisper.
Mar 5, 2013 1:29 PM - Tracy: So are we thinking like 2 more sessions? :)
Mar 4, 2013 6:53 PM - Capt_Dan: Sorry, about ten minutes late.
Mar 4, 2013 12:05 PM - Capt_Dan: Oh yes.
Mar 4, 2013 11:52 AM - AVacc: Do we level up for tonight?
Feb 22, 2013 9:09 AM - Capt_Dan: Okay, so that people can make plans, no game next week.
Feb 19, 2013 7:53 PM - Tracy: I'm also fine with skipping a week, however if you post a new adventure I'd sign up for it. ;)
Feb 19, 2013 5:11 PM - Rob R: I'm OK with skipping a week. If you want to run something and there's interest I can do that too.
Feb 19, 2013 2:02 PM - Capt_Dan: All, Art can't make next week, and we're too close to the end to run without him, so I offer two options; we can skip a week, or I can run something fun as a one-off for that week (level 2, one shot). I have a thing in mind, and it is very good fun...
Feb 19, 2013 11:46 AM - Tracy: Hi guys, again thank you so much for accomodating my suddenly crazy schedule and my most sincere apologies for being late. Great game last night!
Feb 18, 2013 7:49 PM - agustin: Xerex, Tracy are you coming in?
Feb 18, 2013 7:05 PM - agustin: You should come in right away, most of us are here already
Feb 18, 2013 6:56 PM - Xerek: I just had a reminder pop-up, we aren't playing tonight are we? and if so, should I bother coming at this point? It'd be about an hour before I could get there. It does not feel like monday :|
Feb 14, 2013 12:47 PM - Tracy: Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more, Or close the wall up with our dead! In peace there's nothing so becomes a man as modest stillness and humility;

But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger: Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood.
Feb 14, 2013 12:46 PM - Tracy: Looks like a right old mess we've got ourselves in now and no sign of Ironwhisper! We continue to find this traitor!
Feb 12, 2013 1:32 AM - Capt_Dan: T, when you come back, drop 3 surges, and elect any one daily standard attack as spent. XP is now at 18,540, so bring a level 19 prepared char next time, too.
Feb 12, 2013 1:29 AM - Capt_Dan: Shortly, they were ambushed by Mindflayers, and the reanimated scales, sloughed from a dragon. One Flayer escaped, and now they prepare to face what they believe to be a Dragon ahead...
Feb 12, 2013 1:27 AM - Capt_Dan: They fought off two vicious Chimeras at the lip of a lava pit, and then headed deeper into the caverns.
Feb 12, 2013 1:26 AM - Capt_Dan: Tracy - catch up; the party elected to head further down the secret door, and came out in a cavern, deep below the stoneworked halls of the giants.
Feb 11, 2013 12:42 PM - Tracy: Yeah, sucks ballz. Anyone have i4e on their apple device? I can email the export file.
Feb 11, 2013 11:40 AM - Capt_Dan: T, totally understand, sounds like a shit situation. Is it possible to email across your charsheet so that someone else can represent the pain? If not (technical or personal reasons) no worries, we'll see you next week. Probably.
Feb 11, 2013 11:30 AM - Tracy: My apologies, but I have to miss this one. I need to fly to Chicago tonight to fire my catering manager who's been stealing from my program.
Feb 10, 2013 3:26 PM - Capt_Dan: Definitely.
Feb 10, 2013 1:23 PM - agustin: Are we playing tomorrow Feb 11th?
Feb 8, 2013 11:18 AM - Rob R: I can make the 18th in the evening, but am working during the day.
Feb 7, 2013 1:29 PM - AVacc: Just a note that Monday the 18th is President's day - Most business are closed.. I can make it that day but just thought I would put that out there :)
Jan 31, 2013 1:31 AM - Capt_Dan: Finally, there is a small passage and stairs down behind the tapestry on the North end of the wall... (I've assumed you're searching the room reasonably carefully - you haven't always!)
Jan 31, 2013 1:29 AM - Capt_Dan: First, totally agree with Rob, 3hrs+ is usually awful, but I really enjoyed the flow of that battle. You are also now all at +15,340xp. The chest in the room you are in also has 2,000gp -- the first treasure you've discovered so far!
Jan 29, 2013 11:29 AM - Rob R: Had a great time last night. Great job everyone. Not a big fan of 3 hours for one combat but it felt appropriate with the second wave and the way it evolved. Tough battle.
Jan 28, 2013 12:51 PM - AVacc: I will be there
Jan 28, 2013 12:36 PM - Rob R: I gave my stuff with me.
Jan 28, 2013 10:49 AM - agustin: Yes, I plan fo be there.
Jan 28, 2013 10:27 AM - Tracy: Ok. So we're playing today, si?
Jan 27, 2013 5:36 PM - agustin: So is the game happening tomorrow? Please let me know so that I can change my previous plans. Tracy?
Jan 27, 2013 1:27 PM - Capt_Dan: Mon 28th
Jan 27, 2013 11:01 AM - Xerek: Sorry, I think I'm getting my games confused. Is this Monday Jan 28th or Mon Feb 4th?
Jan 27, 2013 10:05 AM - AVacc: Great!
Jan 27, 2013 9:17 AM - Rob R: Works for me
Jan 27, 2013 2:17 AM - Capt_Dan: @Xerek, sorry, to be clear - My school term starts up again on Monday, and my only class is weds PM, until 8:30. I had hoped Tue or Thu would work, but it's hard with everyones schedule.
Jan 27, 2013 2:14 AM - Capt_Dan: Good news - my monday freed up, I hope this works for you guys.
Jan 26, 2013 8:44 AM - Xerek: 2 week? What's wrong with Wed 30th?
Jan 25, 2013 11:53 PM - Capt_Dan: Woah, woah. Sorry guys, I can't get away for this Sunday I' afraid, it looks like a two week break, I'm afraid. At least this is a good spot to pause. irl. Soooo... the PC's are gonna rest 'here'?
Jan 25, 2013 9:17 PM - Rob R: I can make Sunday with a STRONG preference for morning but if later hours work better for people I can do it.
Jan 25, 2013 8:55 PM - agustin: Hello General, I have the arcane lock ritual. This will seal a door and make entry difficult. I propose that we rest, tend to our wounds and recuperate. We have been in almost continuous combat since we entered the stronghold. . . . My vote is to meet this Sunday at 10AM at Au Bon Gout.
Jan 25, 2013 8:26 PM - Xerek: So is that a confirmation for this Sunday? What time?
Jan 25, 2013 12:01 PM - AVacc: I probably can make it this Sunday - Next Sunday is is the super bowl.
Jan 25, 2013 9:24 AM - Rob R: Alas, I work President's Day...
Jan 25, 2013 9:23 AM - Rob R: I'll have to check my pc's rituals list when I get home.
Jan 24, 2013 5:13 PM - James L: Feb 18 is President's Day. Most people won't have school or work that day.
Jan 24, 2013 2:22 PM - Tracy: Bard, Wizard, you got yourself a magic circle in your bag o'tricks?
Jan 24, 2013 1:47 PM - Capt_Dan: Second thing, use these boards just to go over your admin now, if you guys decide to hole up in this corner of the Halls for an extended rest, let me know, if you want to try something else, let me know that as well. Potentially, we can resolve a lot here, before we need to roll dice again...
Jan 24, 2013 1:45 PM - Capt_Dan: Okay guys, first a little admin. I 'might' be able to do this Sunday, or next - but it will depend on Art saying he can anyway. If Art confirms, I'll do my absolute best to make that happen. I'm out Mon/Wed for the next two weeks, after that, we'll be Mondays all through.
Jan 23, 2013 6:50 PM - Xerek: So where is everybody?
Jan 23, 2013 12:45 PM - Capt_Dan: Yes, definitely on for tonight.
Jan 23, 2013 10:57 AM - agustin: Dan, I assume we are still on for 7pm at Au Bon Gout? Great game so far!!!
Jan 23, 2013 9:59 AM - Rob R: REMINDER.
Jan 11, 2013 3:48 PM - Xerek: I could def use a reminder
Jan 11, 2013 3:00 PM - Capt_Dan: Hello All, just a quick catch up ahead of next WEDNESDAY - Au Bon Gout, for now. Wednesday will change at the end of the month (I have class then) but we can work it out once we start. Does everyone remember their various character bits/motivations? Anyone need any reminders? Otherwise, I'll post up an intro here on Tue evening...
Dec 28, 2012 2:43 PM - Rob R:
Dec 22, 2012 11:43 AM - Tracy: Since we have a bard, I'm changing mine up a bit. Still going with Dwarf Commander coming out of retirement, but playing an Avenger of Retribution - The Hammer of Justice.
Dec 21, 2012 7:30 PM - Capt_Dan: Nice work ; rob, i'll email you a little background soon.
Dec 21, 2012 6:16 PM - Tracy: Awesome Rob! :)
Dec 21, 2012 5:52 PM - Rob R: How about a Human War Wizard at your service. Much rather play all 4 in a series but realize I have a better chance of meeting the queen mother.
Dec 20, 2012 9:31 AM - Capt_Dan: John has dropped, so i've opened the game up again - i'll keep track and close it once one more person comes on.
Dec 20, 2012 6:30 AM - Capt_Dan: Okay, weds work for me. I'm always open to change the days once we get going; i would expect eight sessions.
Dec 18, 2012 9:15 AM - Tracy: My vote is for Wed. Commited to Starhaunt Tuesday, and my WoBS campaign is moving to Thursdays.
Dec 18, 2012 7:18 AM - agustin: Hello Dan, I just checked the calendar and noticed AVacc and Tracy are already committed to Starhaunt on Tuesdays. As for me, I can do any day of the week, but Tuesdays are near impossible. Can you change to Thursday?
Dec 18, 2012 7:03 AM - Xerek: I can't do Tuesdays. Most other days are possible, but Tuesdays are impossible.I'll just drop if it needs to be tuesday
Dec 18, 2012 2:53 AM - Capt_Dan: It can't be Monday, unless it goes longer, and I don't want it to go any longer. I can do any night, except Monday, so please let me know if there are any strong objections, otherwise I will go for Tuesdays, and change it in 24hrs.
Dec 16, 2012 12:29 AM - agustin: Hello Dan, could you go ahead and post the additional dates for this game? I assume it will be every Monday for six weeks and I have held off on organizing travel plans until this is finalized.
Nov 4, 2012 2:41 PM - Capt_Dan: Sorry how this has gone, in light of the Storm though, it's a mild inconvenience. Personally, we're still unable to move back home - our area (Peter Cooper Village) has really been smashed, and we have ongoing issues with power/heat/water/elevators/gas/etc. Dec is out, as I'm away for three weeks. Hold on to everything as is, and we'll get 'er done. I promise it'll be good though.
Nov 4, 2012 2:30 PM - Capt_Dan: Okay, I think that's the best idea at the moment. I will move this to January, wholesale - keeping all your slots, and post up a new DnD NEXT game, starting Mon 12 for four weeks. I'll do that now, but everyone here gets the jump on joining up, once I hit five, I'll lock it out as well.
Nov 4, 2012 11:51 AM - agustin: Could you save our spots for Fire Giants in January and post a separate game for D&D next or Eberron? I am pumped for the Giants game.
Nov 3, 2012 7:42 PM - AVacc: I would love to do D&D Next but I am up for anything.
Nov 3, 2012 5:20 PM - John McCullough: I vote for D&D next for four sessions starting on the 12th.
Nov 3, 2012 1:20 PM - Capt_Dan: Because we still have the times set, starting on Mon 12 I will run an alternate game. Four choices, "orcs of Stonefang Pass"; "Eberon - Dead for a Spell"; ANY Dark Sun OR Latest DND Next Playtest Pack. For a four session run, on Mondays from the 12th. Vote below! If you don't wat to hang on for an alternate game, again, let me know and I'll re-post a seperate game for this period.
Nov 3, 2012 1:14 PM - Capt_Dan: Okay, I really think we need to delay this, so I'm going to push it to January. Everyone currently signed up will hold their places, unless they want to drop, in which case I will open-up the sign-up again. I'm doing this, because I think this game needs 'at least' 6 sessions, and can easily go to 8(+).
Nov 3, 2012 12:59 PM - John McCullough: Also, I can't make it on December 10th.
Nov 3, 2012 12:22 PM - John McCullough: Alright, all, what's the scoop? Are we playing Election Day to make up a session or are we doubling up later in the run?
Nov 1, 2012 7:29 PM - agustin: We have established availability on Mondays for all six of us. Why don't we delay Fire Giants one week until Nov 12 and then make up the missed game on a Thursday or Friday night so we play twice one week. I like this party and don't want to see Tracy or anyone else miss a game.
Oct 31, 2012 11:55 AM - Tracy: I definitely cannot do Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturdays. I think maybe, let's do Dan's idea of run something else in place of this due to the Sandy Vagina wrecking our plans.

Then we can reschedule this for after the New Year.
Oct 31, 2012 10:01 AM - AVacc: So we are def NOT playing on the 5th, correct? Also I cant do weekends as a general rule...
Oct 31, 2012 8:54 AM - Capt_Dan: Tuesday is not fixed.
Oct 30, 2012 11:47 PM - agustin: Hello Dan, my vote is for additional days now with the Fire Giants and am flexible with the date or weekend games.
Oct 30, 2012 10:08 PM - Xerek: I'll have to bow out if Tuesday is fixed. I'm open to Wednesday or Sunday. Also, I would vote for extra days now, vs pushing out to Jan.
Oct 30, 2012 9:51 PM - Capt_Dan: 'stilts' = 'still stands' > extra session/different adventure/delay
Oct 30, 2012 6:39 PM - Capt_Dan: That would also work - i'll Change now, but the vote/comments below stilts and; at present, I have five weeks for this, I think it needs six, and can even go as far as eight. Let me know from the options.
Oct 30, 2012 6:36 PM - James L: What about Nov 6th election day? I think only T Michael and Matt H were the ones with problems playing on election day. That's why I chose Monday instead of Tuesday.
Oct 30, 2012 6:29 PM - Capt_Dan: Third alternative - I run something a little different (shorter/ lower lvl) for you guys, and relist this for Jan. (mod would be a surprise of my choosing, around lvl 8)
Oct 30, 2012 6:26 PM - Capt_Dan: This will need six sessions, at least, and is already tight; which do people prefer, that I delay until Jan, or that we try and find an extra date here or there (maybe a weekend?). I know there are pros/cons each way, either would work for me.
Oct 30, 2012 6:23 PM - Capt_Dan: Can, but I have a hard stop / final possible day of Fri 7 Dec, as I am out of the country untilthe new year. I'd prefer to get the first session in sooner, rather than delay, because it can go long, depending on RP and play choices.
Oct 30, 2012 11:52 AM - John McCullough: Dan, Monday the 5th is the new final day for Blade of Vengeance. Could we delay the start of giants by a week?
Oct 27, 2012 1:00 PM - agustin: Sir Stelian, one of my songs creates distrust within the enemy ranks and dominates the enemy (Song of Discord), no sleeping! We should coordinate, I can boost the effectiveness of your marking.

General, are there any leader duties where you need support? One of my songs (Savior's Song) helps us shake off the nasty effects applied to us in combat.

Phelan, Shamash, any way we exploit cold or psychic vulnerability just to lay the love thicker on our enemies?
Oct 26, 2012 7:11 PM - Xerek: That's awesome Shamash. You're not a particular class, ur just an f'n great striker! I like that cockiness. I think we'll get along just fine :)
Oct 25, 2012 7:19 PM - Tracy: Understood Phelan, I need not be concerned with you being late, if your reputation is as true as the Bard's sing it to be.

Ach, Sir Stelian it will be an honor to match smells with Bella again. She still spook when you hold a torch to her arse? Bwahahaha

Ethan, if you can sing 'em to sleep I'm taking you home...wife snores louder than a wounded vargouille.

Shamash...I admit yer a bit of a wild card, but welcome, as long as ye can follow directions when given. We may have need of that
Oct 24, 2012 11:29 PM - AVacc: Dan: It's Art V - there does not seem to be a way to link you to my account page but the picture is the same as it is here.
Oct 24, 2012 11:25 PM - Capt_Dan: AVacc, what's your meetup handle/email - I have to send you your RP motivation/background...
Oct 24, 2012 10:12 PM - AVacc: Actually now that I think about it I wrote the pronunciation wrong. it is sha-MASH - It's been a long time since 4th grade :)
Oct 24, 2012 9:40 PM - Xerek: ah, so like shaman, but with an s
Oct 24, 2012 9:36 PM - AVacc: Soft a - It's origin comes more from the sound of his has Axe whooshing through the air and mashing anything it comes in contact with than some mythical culture ;)
Oct 24, 2012 9:24 PM - Xerek: AVacc, is that a soft a or a hard a? I'm assuming it's of Irish origin?
Oct 24, 2012 9:23 PM - Xerek: Well I'm sure Bella's big enough to give em' some lovin'
Oct 24, 2012 6:29 PM - Capt_Dan: Man, what's with all the hostility? Giants need love to...
Oct 24, 2012 5:57 PM - AVacc: Shamash (pronounced SHA-mash) lost his brother to the treachery of giants and seeks revenge. The honor of the Dragonborn has been besmirched and Shamash intends to be /brutal/ and merciless. Born of fire Shamash does not fear this threat. With his greataxe, his dragon like tenacity and warior's temperament Shamash shall destroy this threat or die trying.
Oct 22, 2012 9:17 PM - Xerek: So you'll sing em to sleep, then coup-de-grace them once their down? How very diplomatic of you. I prefer to use straightforward grace, look down one's nose and proclaim the world to be your's for the taking. Then show them that your bark is not without bite. I'd prefer not to have to run them down like the overgrown rats they are, but if Baern doesn't want me reasoning with them, so be it
Oct 22, 2012 9:07 PM - agustin: General, not to worry about my singing, I am not one of those Bards. My powers focus on crippling enemy attacks, immobilizing foes and domination. Outside of combat, my touch for diplomacy may stronger than a sword

AVacc, I agree with Dan and Tracy. The party could benefit from a high damage striker with a brutal MBA. My character is basically half controller and half healer.
Oct 22, 2012 8:08 PM - Xerek: Baern, ye old codger. Yeah she does still reek after carrying you through that mire last year. You'd smell just as bad if Bella hadn't been there to carry you out. Think of it as camouflage, the giants won't think anything of the smell, we'll catch'em by surprise.
Oct 22, 2012 7:41 PM - John McCullough: Baern, I should arrive at the rally point two days before our scheduled departure. I will seek you out as soon as my other duties permit.
Oct 22, 2012 6:31 PM - Tracy: Ethan, a proper medic we'll always be welcome, just be sure to leave the lute playin' to lullaby's at night. I've heard strange things about you bards...
Oct 22, 2012 6:30 PM - Tracy: Sir Stelian, that Behemoth of yours still smell like a minotaur's arse? Either way, I'm happy to have you leading the charge again...just like the good ole days, right?

Phelan, if the reports are correct, I'm happy to have you along. Report to me before you disappear into the brush. We've got much to discuss.

Oct 22, 2012 6:26 PM - Tracy: I vote with Dan...Valorous Bards make good secondary controllers. If we do get neck deep in the shit, I plan on using my strikers to their best advantage. I don't think I have an attack that doesn't use someone else so bring your MBA to the party and I'll get good use out of it.
Oct 22, 2012 6:24 PM - Tracy: I definitely didn't come out of retirement just to boot my hammer in someone's skull. Been there, done that. This is to end a war before it starts, and I'm going to do it one way or the other. Harumph...
Oct 22, 2012 6:15 PM - Capt_Dan: This is a real sandbox, though. Fighting everything is not necessary; alternative approaches might be useful...
Oct 22, 2012 5:55 PM - Capt_Dan: And you're not late - this is still two weeks away!
Oct 22, 2012 5:54 PM - Capt_Dan: DM's $0.02 - Whilst magic is always useful, a little extra punch is good, purely because it keeps the pace rolling well - 2x strikers, 1.5x leaders & a Defender 'should' be able to roll over most things they find... and I imagine Phelan has a nice sideline in control as well.
Oct 22, 2012 4:13 PM - AVacc: Sorry I am late getting my background - I will do it tonight - very much looking forward to this game. Which do you guys prefer I run? Wizard (Mage) or Striker?
Oct 21, 2012 8:51 PM - agustin: Ethan Redgate is a Half Elf Valorous Bard and has trained as a Lifesinger (Paragon) and Wandering Duelist (Background). General Stonehammer, your prowess on the battlefield precedes you. My village has been witness to marauding groups of Giants and their allies. I am an arcane spell caster and combat physician, and pleased to fight under your command.
Oct 21, 2012 8:23 PM - Capt_Dan: almost certainly.
Oct 21, 2012 8:21 PM - Capt_Dan: FWIW - PC's with names also have motivations for being here, now. Gen Stonehammer can almost certainly trust everyone around him.
Oct 21, 2012 7:32 PM - Xerek: Not sure if it's connected, here ya go mccampbell87@gmail.com
Oct 21, 2012 7:30 PM - Capt_Dan: I was using it for emailing characters RP motivations for the game... it wasn't coming through on your RPG-Connect profile. Is it connected? I can keep trying.
Oct 21, 2012 7:26 PM - Xerek: Yes, but what of it? I rarely get on Meetup.
Oct 21, 2012 7:11 PM - Capt_Dan: Xerek - do you have a Meetup profile?
Oct 21, 2012 3:11 PM - John McCullough: Phelan is an intrepid scout (paragon path) from the deep woods with a taste for giant blood. He faced the trials of the Hill and Frost giants, and is eager to see his hunt through to its conclusion. He has followed the clues leading to Snurre, the fire giant king, and has joined his strength to that of the dwarves.
Oct 21, 2012 10:57 AM - Xerek: Sir Stelian is a Valiantly (Paragon) Valorous Dragonborn Cavalier. He is an exceptional Athlete (Background) in his spare time, but that only helps him lug the almost 600 pound plate armor around; although, his trusty Behemoth (large defensive mount) carries that weight with ease. He's always the first to charge the enemy granting healing to those less focused on their own health and more on the enemies'.
Oct 21, 2012 10:48 AM - Xerek: If everyone doesn't make it out of this alive: my mother was a goblin. You stay by me and you'll be just fine.
Sir Stelian (and his trusted Behemoth), reporting for a second Giant-crazed tour of duty, on loan from HM The Queen's 7th Regiment of Dragoon Guards.
Oct 21, 2012 12:26 AM - Tracy: King Snurre has always proved to be a thorn in the sides of the Clan of the Twistusk Marauders. The fact that Obmi Ironwhisper has gone rogue is reason enough for Baern to come out of retirement. I would like nothing more than to redeem Obmi, but if the rumors are true...both he and King Snurre will have to deal with 'Kronos Bane' my trusty war hammer!

Oct 21, 2012 12:17 AM - Capt_Dan: (As you guys post up roles - and Names - I'll start giving you a little RP and a personal motivation... But only General Stonehammers is going up on here!
Oct 21, 2012 12:16 AM - Capt_Dan: King Snurre is no enemy of the Dwarves, at least that they know. You have formed a party of allies, ostensibly to aid the Dwarves in this matter of Honour; but perhaps other Agendas remain at work...
Oct 21, 2012 12:13 AM - Capt_Dan: General Stonehammer, recalled for duty for a very particular mission; recover a traitor. Obmi Ironwhisper, to stand trial for Treason. Believed to be hiding with King Snurre, the Fire-Giant lord, the bounty on his head is currently at 250 Platinum Pieces.
Oct 20, 2012 6:40 PM - Ben K: Ah darn. Missed another one...
Oct 20, 2012 4:58 PM - Tracy: I grant lots of attacks...especially basics, so feel free to create amazing MBA or RBA attacks so that you can all be properly led.
Oct 20, 2012 4:07 PM - Tracy: General Baern Stonehammer is a tactical dwarf warlord. He is an Earthfast Brigadier (paragon path) that came out of retirement (background) to end the threat of the giants once and for all.
Oct 20, 2012 4:03 PM - Tracy: Don't call me 'sir.' I work for a living, soldier! I was picking boys like you off the turf back when your mama was picking daisies in the field. Your papa, too. Also, we didn't do it that way in the Eastern Campaigns, I can tell you that.
Oct 19, 2012 10:44 PM - Tracy: Hybrids are not allowed. It's not a DM's choice. Those are the rule here. The only exceptions are Lair Assaults.
Oct 19, 2012 10:12 PM - agustin: Dan, do you mind if i join in with a leader hybrid?
Oct 19, 2012 9:58 PM - Tracy: I see only four committed adventurers to this. Who's with us? 15 are interested and only 4 have signed up. I'll kill these mo-f'n Giants without you, but I'd rather have an ally!
Oct 9, 2012 1:26 PM - Xerek: My plan is to play my Dragonborn Paladin who fought the Ice Giants. I think he was a Blackguard. I can't do Tuesdays or Thursdays, open with other week nights.
Oct 9, 2012 12:40 PM - Capt_Dan: When the adventure starts, you will all be part of a Dwarfen mounted expedition - It would be good if someone played a Dwarf. Otherwise, RP your character as you like, and I will respond with a little background story and motivation.
Oct 9, 2012 12:39 PM - Capt_Dan: Okay, we're about three weeks out from this; the Mondays are notional, for now. I can do M,T or Th. Depending on how 'Blade' goes, I might start the last week of Oct. Finally, I'll use this board to RP a little bit, to get us started right - feel free to put up char intro's.
Sep 12, 2012 4:08 PM - Capt_Dan: Matt, done - I hadn't realised the sign-up was out of date.
Sep 7, 2012 10:18 AM - Tommy T: Can't commit to this just yet, but I'd be bringing my Kobold thief that played (and became quite rich) in the Ice Giant adventure.
Sep 5, 2012 12:05 AM - Capt_Dan: FYI, if someone who played before, wants to play again, I can work with that...
Aug 10, 2012 8:55 PM - Tracy: Thank you for running this again CD! I'll actually get to play through all the mods now!
Aug 9, 2012 3:38 PM - T Michael: I joined the interested list to recommend this mod and DM very highly. Capt_Dan did an amazing job with us this summer. His prep work was meticulous and beautifully rendered in 2 and 3 dimensions.
Aug 4, 2012 6:22 PM - Capt_Dan: Plus, I have all those Giants minis...
Aug 4, 2012 6:22 PM - Capt_Dan: Yeah, I think there are enough people who deserve to get a chance to play it, and for whom I'm happy to run it for - plus, it's easier a second time, and interesting to see how it goes differently. And it's a way off...
Aug 4, 2012 6:15 PM - James L: You're going to run it again?!
Aug 3, 2012 11:53 AM - Capt_Dan: Hello! This is the encore presentation of Fire Giants, for those who missed the frst go through. Dates/Times/Locations are still very much up for grabs, but no sooner than Sept. The first rn was very well received, I'm sure I can do better a second time!
