D&D Next - Murder in Baldur's Gate
Cost: $0.00
Level: 1

First Session: Monday -- November 18th, 2013 -- 10:00 AM
[Eastern Time]

Approx. Length: 3-4 sessions

Description:
Wealth flows into the city of Baldur’s Gate like water. As the rich luxuriate in their mansions atop the bluff and artisans ply their trades on the steep streets, masses of poor laborers swell the slums. Money and power beget political scandal, religious fervor, crime . . . and murder. No one feels safe on the rain-darkened streets. Strange, foreign gods are beseeched in secret shrines. The city is rife with corruption. And through it all, the body count keeps rising.

Murder in Baldur's Gate presents the city in the time of the Sundering, a period that will define the future of the Forgotten Realms. In addition to providing 64 pages of in-depth information on the city and its inhabitants, this product includes a harrowing 32-page adventure in which the player characters defend Baldur's Gate against an ancient evil long thought slain.

Murder in Baldur's Gate allows characters to participate in important events connected to the Sundering and glimpse the future of the Forgotten Realms.

Jan 31, 2014 11:52 AM - Vlad: Concur, thanks Michael. You have a way of bringing the story alive that makes one really immersed in it. I'll do my best not to crit your main villains in the next game so that you have an opportunity to roleplay them more!
Jan 30, 2014 9:48 PM - Matt L.: late to the party here but I loved it too!
Jan 30, 2014 11:36 AM - Capt_Dan: PSelf promotion - I'm running a quick Cthulhu game next week, to fill the space. Using the new 7th Ed rules, I'll provide characters, and the adventure should be a lot of fun, and quite different.
Jan 30, 2014 11:23 AM - Capt_Dan: Great game, really good DMing, loving the new D&D, and a great group as well! See some of you in a week for Art's sequel!
Jan 29, 2014 5:31 PM - Tracy: Seriously. That was awesome. :) Thanks for everything!
Jan 29, 2014 2:34 PM - T Michael: Thank you everyone for being an awesome group of players and a very fun, engaged, and creative table.
Jan 29, 2014 12:07 PM - AVacc: Thanks much, T Michael! - Loved it.
Jan 29, 2014 10:13 AM - Rob R: Awesome, Awesome, Awesome job DMing. I read a little of the adventure booklet when I get home and I must say it was inspired mod design. I don't want to say anything more online (spoilers and such) but I suggest getting your hands on a copy.
Jan 28, 2014 2:37 PM - T Michael: Yes we are! See everyone at 7:30
Jan 28, 2014 12:02 PM - Tracy: I believe so. :)
Jan 28, 2014 11:19 AM - AVacc: We on for tonight?
Jan 22, 2014 2:30 PM - AVacc: Works for me. Rob lets discuss which night we want to do my game when we are done with this.
Jan 22, 2014 2:27 PM - T Michael: Let us do next Tuesday night. Getting home last night to 87th and Third was hard at 7:30, I can only imagine what 11:00 would have looked like.
Jan 22, 2014 2:23 PM - Rob R: Whatever works best for the group. If we push it to next week, I can no longer do the Mondays as originally planned. I can do Tuesday (& Thursday for that matter).
Jan 22, 2014 1:56 PM - Tracy: Hi gents,

I tried to move my work schedule around for tonight, but can't get out of this meeting unfortunately. I'm a fan of pushing it a week, solely for my own benefit! I think Matt said he can't make tonight happen either (and tomorrow is WoBS). I've taken good notes and think we can pick up with no issues.
Jan 22, 2014 1:49 PM - Capt_Dan: Quick sanity check; are we on for tonight, tomorrow night or do we push a week. I can do any, and I wholly understand if we push a week. I don't think it'll hurt the game that much.
Jan 21, 2014 5:50 PM - Matt L.: I'll be away for the rest of the week though I could try for Thursday night if that works for everyone.

I don't mind missing out on a session, of course.
Jan 21, 2014 5:41 PM - T Michael: While I would be up for an online experience, tonight will not work logistically for me given my home dynamics.
Jan 21, 2014 5:38 PM - AVacc: I'd be happy to try a hangout tonight
Jan 21, 2014 5:34 PM - Tracy: I will try to shuffle tomorrow around. What about online via google hangout? We could do this theatre of the mind with an online dice roller we all log into.
Jan 21, 2014 5:34 PM - T Michael: Given the snow and the strong advice of the MTA to get home earlier than later, we will postpone tonight. Many of you can do tomorrow, so we will confirm in the AM.
Jan 21, 2014 5:28 PM - AVacc: OK - Metro north is getting snotty - delays on every line.. I think I am going to make my way home... Beer is on me if we can pull it together tomorrow night.
Jan 21, 2014 5:14 PM - Capt_Dan: I'm good for whenever; i think it's smart to skip today, it's only getting worse.
Jan 21, 2014 5:02 PM - Vlad: I am fine with tomorrow as well if we decide to move it to then.
Jan 21, 2014 5:01 PM - Rob R: I was thinking the same thing about above ground trains (ie 7 in Queens). My line is below ground. I am good for tomorrow.
Jan 21, 2014 4:57 PM - AVacc: I am good for tomorrow. Hudson line looks ok for now... So whatever everyone wants to do.
Jan 21, 2014 4:54 PM - T Michael: I am ready to play, but the snow is real. I had four kids home today. If those of you dependent on above-ground trains (which I presume include Rob, Matt, Vlad, and AVacc) prefer to get or stay home, I understand. If we do not play tonight, who is available tomorrow?
Jan 21, 2014 4:50 PM - Tracy: Agreed Dan! I'm pretty good either way, but I don't want people to risk this!
Jan 21, 2014 3:42 PM - Capt_Dan: I have no issues, but I think, given conditions, we should try and check in and make a definitive check at 6pm and make a decision then; it would be silly to get stranded for a game.
Jan 21, 2014 2:30 PM - Vlad: Same boat as Matt. If the 7 is running, I can make it.
Jan 21, 2014 2:07 PM - Matt L.: So long as there isn't a good chance the 7 will shut down because of the wind/snow, then I can make it. This has made me a little nervous, though: http://alert.mta.info/
Jan 21, 2014 2:02 PM - AVacc: I'm already in the city so I should be fine -
Jan 21, 2014 1:58 PM - Rob R: I'm leaving work now to pick up my kids cause daycare is closing early. As long as my wife can make it home in time for me to leave and the subways are all right, I'll be there.
Jan 21, 2014 1:49 PM - T Michael: How is everyone doing with the snow? Who can make it tonight?
Jan 20, 2014 8:12 PM - AVacc: See you all tomorrow. Sorry for the trouble.
Jan 20, 2014 7:21 PM - Tracy: Matt, that's exactly why I thought that too, and I do apologize for this. I personally would prefer to play with all of us as this has been a great journey so far and I want to see where it goes. I've honestly never had as much fun playing levels 1-3 before and really think Mike Mearls' article today achieves exactly what they are setting out to do.
Jan 20, 2014 6:00 PM - Matt L.: Yesterday there was a proposal to move it to Tuesday, and 2 responded in the affirmative with no one objecting, so I assumed it was a go for Tuesday (and thus made some plans for tonight). We've been rescheduling frequently, so I sometimes lose track.
Jan 20, 2014 5:58 PM - Rob R: Last post - Thanks for letting me get that off. I feel much better and as long as the snow isn't too bad, I'll see everyone tomorrow.
Jan 20, 2014 5:57 PM - Rob R: So I just wanted to get that off my chest in general because I've noticed it with many games lately. Not really directed to anyone in particular because sickness happens, hot girls happen (never enough) and work definately happens. All I ask is as early as possible communication.
Jan 20, 2014 5:55 PM - Rob R: S**t happens. Trust me I understand. And I always joked (only half-joking) that when it comes to last minute snafues that involve a hot girl I'm more understanding than someone saying they broke their leg :)
Jan 20, 2014 5:53 PM - Rob R: Now if I missed something that caused confusion between MLK and Tuesday, please fill me in and I'll apologize.
Jan 20, 2014 5:51 PM - Rob R: That's better My first post didn't come out right. So T Michael, you shouldn't apologize.
Jan 20, 2014 5:50 PM - Tracy: By apologies if I implied this as no big thing everyone...in my head I assumed we were playing tomorrow and I moved tomorrow's date to today. Considering her birthday is today, I can't go back and say, have fun tonight, we're game on tomorrow...I feel like a douche either way now. I'm sorry all.
Jan 20, 2014 5:49 PM - Rob R: But, the DM posted on the 11th about MLK and everyone responded yes (sort of). I waited to the 13th to make sure my schedule was clear. Then the day off, two people cancel? I understand things happen (especially hot girls ; ) but I sense people view this rescheduling is no big thing.........
Jan 20, 2014 5:39 PM - Rob R: Dan is right. With only three today, we can't play so we'll go for tomorrow.
Jan 20, 2014 4:58 PM - T Michael: No worries. My apologies for shifting dates. Given That most people shifted their plans for tomorrow night, we will play Tuesday
Jan 20, 2014 4:55 PM - Capt_Dan: Wait!! We just lost three for to night, vs maybe Rob for tomorrow! T Michael, we the players seem to be mucking you up - please restate, do we go for TODAY (without Avacc, Tracy or Matt L!) or Tomorrow??
Jan 20, 2014 4:08 PM - Tracy: Hi guys! I totally shifted my schedule assuming we were playing tomorrow...my bad - I've promised this really attractive (human) woman a date tonight for her birthday...
Jan 20, 2014 4:08 PM - Matt L.: I doubt I'll be able to make it tonight, as well.
Jan 20, 2014 3:46 PM - Vlad: I would probably prefer tomorrow at this point, but I can def. make it tonight if we decide on tonight
Jan 20, 2014 2:52 PM - AVacc: Sorry to be a bother - I am out of the city today and have been sick and am not up to driving in. (nothing contagious ;) - For some reason I thought we were on for tomorrow but please don't change on my account.
Jan 20, 2014 2:51 PM - T Michael: Given the snow and the risk that we may not have a full team tomorrow, we should go ahead with playing tonight. Sorry AVacc. Everyone ok with still getting together tonight?
Jan 20, 2014 2:30 PM - Matt L.: I can only do it tomorrow; rest of the week I will be out of town.. I don't mind missing a session, though. I don't want to be an inconvenience, especially considering the weather
Jan 20, 2014 12:50 PM - Rob R: Not sure about playing Tuesday evening with the projected snow. It'll make it difficult to drive in. That being said it looks like only two people have responded. If everyone canmake tuesday ill figure it out and get in but I'll prob be late
Jan 20, 2014 12:50 PM - Rob R: Not sure about playing Tuesday evening with the projected snow. It'll make it difficult to drive in. That being said it looks like only two people have responded. If everyone canmake tuesday ill figure it out and get in but I'll prob be late
Jan 19, 2014 7:52 PM - Tracy: Tue works for me.
Jan 19, 2014 7:28 PM - Capt_Dan: Tues is always good for me; I can do either.
Jan 19, 2014 6:11 PM - T Michael: If everyone is available on this coming Tuesday evening instead, I would be happy to get together then. Please let me know.
Jan 19, 2014 5:44 PM - AVacc: Sorry I can't make it tomorrow. I won't be in the city...
Jan 19, 2014 5:36 PM - T Michael: Everyone please bring a third level version of your character tomorrow
Jan 19, 2014 3:12 PM - Tracy: We're on for tomorrow?
Jan 13, 2014 2:40 PM - Rob R: I can do Monday night.
Jan 11, 2014 8:43 PM - Tracy: If any of you are free on Tuesday I posted a game of Descent. Sign up if you'd like. :)
Jan 11, 2014 6:32 PM - Vlad: No prob
Jan 11, 2014 6:31 PM - Matt L.: No problem.
Jan 11, 2014 3:41 PM - AVacc: Fine for me. I was having a little conflict, myself :)
Jan 11, 2014 3:26 PM - Capt_Dan: No issue for me.
Jan 11, 2014 1:36 PM - T Michael: Gentlemen, not only do I have to go to St. Louis on Monday but I also have to go to Atlanta overnight on Tuesday. I apologize about the inconvenience of pushing us back a week, especially given the discovery of the gunpowder plot. Can everyone make a MLK Monday game night?
Jan 10, 2014 12:27 PM - AVacc: We are playing Tuesday, next week?
Jan 7, 2014 7:08 PM - T Michael: Should be there by 7:30. Sorry for the delay.
Jan 7, 2014 6:08 PM - Matt L.: I'll be running 15 minutes late. Have to wait for my girlfriend to come home from work as she forgot her keys.
Jan 6, 2014 5:39 PM - Tracy: Ha! Glad I read this...just about to head out...lol
Jan 3, 2014 2:35 PM - T Michael: Yes, we are on for Tuesday the 7th. We probably need two sessions to finish and can discuss on Tuesday when we can all finish up. Hope everyone had great holidays.
Jan 2, 2014 5:26 PM - Capt_Dan: Confirmation check - we're on for Tuesday? Will there be another session after that?
Dec 17, 2013 12:33 AM - Tracy: I've done a lot of 1 or 2 shot D&D Next adventurers, but this is epic. I really enjoy how 1st - 2nd level play can feel just as epic as level 22 did. Great job and well ran. Can't wait to see where this leads.
Dec 16, 2013 6:38 PM - Vlad: I might be 15 minutes late, stuck at work.
Dec 16, 2013 10:26 AM - T Michael: Yes, everyone should level up to Second Level.
Dec 16, 2013 9:37 AM - AVacc: Should we level up?
Dec 16, 2013 8:27 AM - AVacc: I moved my game out a week if you want to move this to Monday the 6th. Tuesday is fine for me...
Dec 9, 2013 11:41 AM - T Michael: Yes we are
Dec 9, 2013 11:23 AM - Tracy: Are we definitely picking back up on the 16th?
Dec 7, 2013 9:03 PM - Kyle: Hey guys a few of you signed up for my game on the 16th, would you like me to push it back a week? I'd really like to DM for you guys and it's not last minute so I'd be happy to to allow you guys the time you need to save Baldur's Gate.
Dec 5, 2013 1:22 PM - Rob R: Taking the week of works. No need to apoligize, life happens.
Dec 5, 2013 1:10 PM - Capt_Dan: I'm okay in principle; the issue I have is that I travel to the UK on the 19th (Thu) and I don't get back until the 29th (Sun).
Dec 5, 2013 12:55 PM - AVacc: Works for me
Dec 5, 2013 12:49 PM - T Michael: I apologize for the event on Monday interfering with our game. We may have to skip the week as I am traveling on Wednesday and Thursday. Are people ok with picking back up on 16th?
Dec 5, 2013 11:38 AM - AVacc: Wed / Thurs are perfect for me... I can.t do Friday
Dec 5, 2013 11:37 AM - Rob R: Let's try to resolve next week's day sooner rather than later so that people can adjust their schedules (where possible).
Dec 3, 2013 8:27 PM - Tracy: Rob, in case you don't have it: tjgingell@gmail.com

I'm totally interested in the playtest you mentioned! :)
Dec 2, 2013 4:58 PM - Tracy: Also excited. Also vote people. :p
Dec 2, 2013 3:04 PM - T Michael: I look forward to seeing everyone tonight! Remember I will get there at 7:15-7:20.
Nov 30, 2013 4:38 PM - AVacc: I should be able to get there Monday but I will be an hour or so late.
Nov 27, 2013 8:43 PM - Tracy: I'm still up for Monday...and don't forget to vote people! I mean...tweet, tweet. Twee-did-diddly tweet.
Nov 27, 2013 1:02 PM - AVacc: No worries - Loved what you did last week. Looking forward to the story.
Nov 27, 2013 11:25 AM - T Michael: Thank you Tracy for the kind words and everyone for playing well in a fun, multi-dimensional mod. We will have a blast together. As for scheduling, this Sunday unfortunately does not work for me. Sorry AVacc :-(. If everyone is ok with it, we will go ahead with Monday.
Nov 26, 2013 9:25 PM - AVacc: IT turns out that Sunday is an option for me if that works for others
Nov 25, 2013 11:40 PM - Tracy: T Michael the Human DM (although we're still debating the human part) did a fantastic job tonight and kept us intrigued with story as opposed to a ton of combat. Well done and can't wait to see where it goes from here...to think, Bhaal Spawn are back! Argh..cough..tweet, tweet, tweedididly dee. Tweet.
Nov 25, 2013 4:57 PM - Matt L.: Half Elf Mage

Lucian Footright - Once spending nearly every waking hour practicing cantrips and being hunched over ancient scrolls, Lucian now found greater comfort in experiencing the oddities of the greater world by letting his feet do the leading. Though learned, Lucian had a panache for disregarding certain social conventions, and, by consequence, has often found himself in trouble. Despite this, he admires goodly men and women and always strives to avoid conflict wherever possible.
Nov 25, 2013 3:20 PM - Vlad: Kai is a solemn Wood Elf with an aloof disposition, whose wanderlust had seen him travel up and down the Sword Coast, including Baldur's Gate. Although armed with two scimitars, he prefers the elegance of a bow to the frenzy of melee combat. To him, nothing is as poetic as the silent death borne by an arrow in the night.
Nov 25, 2013 10:57 AM - Rob R: Barn the Wanderer is your sterotypical grumpy Dwarf. Where he is not so stereotypical is that he is as comfortable in the forest as he is inside the mountain and on the mountain slopes. Due to his Moradin-given skill sets, he has made a living renting out his services as a guide. His last job was guiding a caravan through the wilds to Waterdeep. His lips curl into a smile as he hears talk of festivities. Hopefully they'll have plenty of good Dwarven Ale......
Nov 24, 2013 10:09 AM - T Michael: Yes tomorrow we will meet for a most festive occasion, the public celebration of Returning Day. Baldur's Gate will be the place to be in our minds and Au Bon Gout will be the place for our beer refreshed bodies. I will get there around 7:15.
Nov 24, 2013 10:01 AM - Tracy: Tomorrow. Tomorrow. I'll roll dice tomorrow. It's only a day awayyyyyyyy!
Nov 19, 2013 9:03 PM - Tracy: Can we start playing at Au Bon Gout yet? Beer! Beer! Beer! More convenient. Beer! Beer!
Nov 19, 2013 9:53 AM - Tracy: Gimble Vocalberen Stormsong (or Tweet to his friends) is a cunning gnome rogue with an eye for shiny things. He has a natural talent for getting himself into trouble and relies on his powerful allies to bail him out of tight situations. Although he cannot speak, he can whistle with perfect pitch that resonates with a magical melody. Gimble is usually seen whistling to an accompaniment of canaries.
Nov 19, 2013 12:50 AM - Tracy: Tweet. Tweet. Tweet-did-diddly-diddly. Tweet. Tweet. Tweet-did-diddly-diddly.Tweet. Tweet. Tweet-did-diddly-diddly.Tweet. Wah-wah-wah-wah-ohhhhh.
Nov 18, 2013 5:17 PM - AVacc: A human raised by elves, Taenaran has a decidedly Elven disposition. He likes his sword better than most people he knows and would rather train and drill than virtually any other activity save a challenging sword fight. Taenaran is an arcane creature but does not view his magic abilities as something special. To him, magic is no different than a well trained sword arm or his eyes.
Nov 18, 2013 4:53 PM - Capt_Dan: So, meet Kaarth, a veteran Dragonborn soldier who, after two decades faithful service, left the military, drawn far on a quest. He returned a cleric of Aumanator, believing his return imminent. He is a man of order and laws, caring not about what is good, only what is right. A powerful combatant his deep red scales belie his origins; when pressed, his fiery breath is a magnificent and terrible weapon.
Nov 18, 2013 1:17 PM - T Michael: Yes, we start next Monday the 25th. As for your party choices, having a true healer would be nice. TPKs are just so messy.
Nov 18, 2013 1:03 PM - Tracy: I've got the thievery all taken care of! With 3 skills to choose from and the appropriate background to give Thieve's Tool proficiency I've got skulking covered.
Nov 18, 2013 12:49 PM - Matt L.: To be sure - we are starting next week, correct? Not tonight?
Nov 16, 2013 9:33 PM - Capt_Dan: Tracy, if your Bard has the hieving/skulking covered, I'll bring my Cleric. Right now, I have a tough as nails old Dragonborn, retired soldier of Tymantir, and now a cleric of Torm, or else a charming, stealthing Half-Elf rogue - I will bring both and happily play either.
Nov 16, 2013 9:27 AM - Tracy: I was going to roll with the bard, but I'm realizing there are no heals until 2nd level. Anyone think it too dangerous to do without a cleric or druid?
Nov 16, 2013 12:45 AM - Rob R: I plan on dual weilding. I was just most concerned with having two rangers and no mage. But now that we have the mage (as well as a cleric), I'm less concerned about two rangers. I like the mage in a party for the spells utility.
Nov 15, 2013 10:32 PM - Tracy: 1 of you can be all 'eat this arrow' and the other all 'eat these dual weapons!'
Nov 15, 2013 8:01 PM - Vlad: Huh, just realized I was in after all. I might switch up classes to avoid two rangers, let me ponder on it a bit.
Nov 15, 2013 6:11 PM - Matt L.: I'll still be available for the revised dates.
Nov 14, 2013 11:49 PM - Capt_Dan: Also, my cleric was going to be a violent, anti-social bruiser, LN in the mold of Judge Dredd.
Nov 14, 2013 11:41 PM - Capt_Dan: I'm switching up, going with a half-elf rogue/spy, since Matt wants to switch over to Mage. I don't have a big issue with two rangers, there are only so many classes in NEXT, and we're all L1 anyway. I'm planning on being mildly averse to combat (not killing though) anyway...
Nov 14, 2013 11:36 PM - Tracy: I cannot play Thursdays due to my WoBS campaign. Rob you could both be completely different rangers if one of you focus on two weapon and one focuses on range. Dan are you going heal crazy? Just helps me pick a path...
Nov 14, 2013 1:38 PM - Capt_Dan: Putting up "Blood Money" for NEXT for this monday - please feel free to dive in.
Nov 14, 2013 12:53 PM - Rob R: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (thru Dec) are bad for me.
Nov 14, 2013 11:34 AM - T Michael: I am thrilled for this mod, the players at the table and love seeing the excitement build as the team shapes up. We have to push out the start to the 25th, because my company's annual meeting is next Wednesday and contrary to my original expectations, this Monday is likely a work evening for me. As for December 2nd, I could run that week's game on Tuesday, December 3rd. Let me know how that works for everyone.
Nov 14, 2013 10:58 AM - AVacc: Is there any chance the December 2 game could be a different night that week? :/
Nov 13, 2013 6:23 PM - Matt L.: I'll go as a mage instead of a thief.
Nov 13, 2013 12:52 PM - Capt_Dan: I have a Dragonborn Warpriest, at the moment. I could also play a Mage, or Rogue, if anyone wants to take a different tack.
Nov 13, 2013 12:36 PM - Rob R: I have dibs on the ranger ; )
Nov 13, 2013 12:17 PM - Tracy: Alright Vlad! You're in. :)
Nov 13, 2013 12:12 PM - Tracy: Making a Spell book was a lot of fun, use your snip tool and just copy paste by level. That way you have your cantrips on 1 side and your 4 1st level spells on the other. Divine casters should do the same for their chosen cantrips and 1st level spells for ease of operations. :)
Nov 13, 2013 10:42 AM - Rob R: To clarify my previous post - the most recent public playtest version was released ~ 101413. All the relevant documents other than classes still has the "091913" date in the filename. The classes has "101413" in the filename. Hope that helps.
Nov 13, 2013 10:41 AM - AVacc: Agreed on the spell book- It's nearly impossible to do from the PDF
Nov 13, 2013 10:40 AM - AVacc: Rob - Done
Nov 13, 2013 10:39 AM - Rob R: Also, for those playing spellcasters, please have the list of spells your memorizing / using indexed or create a spell sheet. I've seen enough of these games get bogged down between flipping back and forth through a 58 pg PDF file of spells.
Nov 13, 2013 10:38 AM - Rob R: Everyone, please make sure you are using the most recent public version of the play test. It's dated 101413.
Nov 13, 2013 10:36 AM - Rob R: Art, switch to fighter. I'll take the ranger.
Nov 13, 2013 9:01 AM - AVacc: Question: Does the Ranger buy us something this party needs or would 2 fighters be ok? I want to try to build a spellsword so my second level would be arcane...
Nov 13, 2013 12:16 AM - kentmagus: Good thing I checked this. It's on the 18th then. I will actually have to make a character.
Nov 11, 2013 7:46 AM - Rob R: 1 wk / 2 wk ? Nevermind I'm confused. See everyone on the 18th.
Nov 11, 2013 7:44 AM - Rob R: Oh the 18th !?!?! That's a 2-wk break. Good thing I checked the site this morning.
Nov 6, 2013 2:26 PM - Capt_Dan: Priest of Torm, same as a cleric.
Nov 6, 2013 2:08 PM - Rob R: I'm OK with leaving it to start on the 18th. A week break is a good thing in my house. If others need to move it up, I understand and am OK with it.
Nov 5, 2013 8:35 AM - AVacc: Is priest and cleric the same thing? I will play a ranger unless we need more healing - I can run cleric..
Nov 4, 2013 11:21 PM - Capt_Dan: Storm over Neverwinter finished...
Nov 4, 2013 10:27 AM - T Michael: November 18th is the starting date, subject to Storm on Neverwinter finishing.
Nov 4, 2013 10:14 AM - Matt L.: Just verifying that we are indeed starting Nov 18th. Still shows a start date of Nov 4th in the list of campaigns.
Oct 30, 2013 11:38 AM - T Michael: We will go with Next
Oct 28, 2013 12:37 PM - AVacc: Happy to do next, too...
Oct 28, 2013 11:35 AM - James L: I vote Next, since this was basically written for and intended to showcase Next, even though they say it's for all editions.
Oct 28, 2013 9:15 AM - AVacc: I will play an elf ranger if we do next
Oct 22, 2013 10:02 PM - Rob R: I too rather enoy the simplicity of Next over 4e
Oct 22, 2013 7:13 PM - Capt_Dan: Dates are still good for me; I have a slight preference for Next, obviously, happy to go with the strongest opinion.
Oct 21, 2013 6:08 PM - T Michael: I have moved out the dates and would be happy to run it under 4e if the group prefers.
Oct 21, 2013 4:46 PM - AVacc: In case anyone cares I have a slight preference for 4E - Also would it be possible to adjust the dates so they don't conflict with the encounters game?
Oct 21, 2013 4:15 PM - James L: I this 4E or D&D Next?
Oct 2, 2013 1:18 PM - James L: they gave out some sort of intro adventure to this on the website: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4news/MIBGlaunch
Sep 27, 2013 3:24 PM - Capt_Dan: Priest, Human if Next, Goliath if 4e...
Sep 27, 2013 3:21 PM - Rob R: I'd like to ply a fighter, race to be determined.
