Jan 26, 2014 9:55 AM - Kyle: Slate can't DM on SB Sunday but if you guys want I can run a short Delve or something to keep the ball rolling, and pick up the campaign the following week. eco if you can make it let me know by posting a message on my Diamond Staff game. I'll talk to the other players at the game.
Jan 25, 2014 9:46 PM - Matt: Oh, noon? Sorry then, I'm out for sure, thought it would be much later. Have a great time, I'll hopefully catch you next time.
Jan 25, 2014 8:01 PM - Slateskies: Oops, the venue is the Cranberry Cafe at 115 West 45th. At noon, despite what the time says!
Jan 25, 2014 3:36 PM - Dave: @ecoplanner9 I was gonna play a Warlock. Sorry I didn't see you post. If need be, I can change to tank last minute without much issue.
Jan 25, 2014 3:35 PM - Dave: The location still says Manhattan. Is there a venue for the game tomorrow?
Jan 23, 2014 3:16 PM - Slateskies: Thanks for the heads up, ecoplanner9!
Jan 19, 2014 11:41 PM - Matt: Thanks Slate, sounds good. Also, in the interest of being a good groupmate, just a heads up: while the time listed will work for me most weeks, I just found out I'll be moving next weekend (good reasons, surprising timing) so I'm now about 50/50 on whether I can make it. Will let you know when I have more info.
Jan 18, 2014 4:18 PM - Slateskies: When we start the new campaign, I'll hook everyone up with the C4 rules, but don't sweat it for the 26th. Just leave out backgrounds and themes, and we'll rough it!
Jan 18, 2014 2:10 PM - Matt: Sounds good. I've got an old longtooth shifter ranger, level 2 with no theme, that I used to really enjoy. Thinking I'll bring him out of mothballs unless we already have a striker.
Jan 18, 2014 9:45 AM - Kyle: Just don't add a theme, and when you print the sheet, remove the racial defence bonus and you'll be fine. That's all I had to do. I think there are a few feats that aren't allowed, so I kept it simple with armor proficiency and weapon expertice that way there's no issues.
Jan 17, 2014 11:34 PM - Matt: I'm home sick tonight and toying with character ideas on the CB - one of my favorite weird hobbies too. Is there a way to link characters on here so you can tell me if mine is legal for the homebrew?
Jan 17, 2014 2:04 PM - Kyle: I'd be happy to help either of you with a character if you don't have time to do it (it's kind of a wierd hobby). Just post race/class/play style here and I'm sure I can throw something together.
Jan 17, 2014 2:03 PM - Kyle: We're short players, Dave so I'd go to the game even if the DM doesn't get around to confirming you.
Jan 17, 2014 2:02 PM - Kyle: Dave, no worries on character creation. The DM uses a system called "C4", which is a slight variant on 4E. The only real differences is no racial defence bonuses, and if you play a human you get +2 to 2 defences, not one. There are a few other slight differences but they are not really noticable.
Jan 17, 2014 8:26 AM - Dave: I'm really excited to find someone that likes playing a Dark Campaign. I'm gonna enjoy making this character, but I'm flexible so let me know if it would be easier if I picked up someone's story line.
Jan 15, 2014 2:05 PM - Slateskies: Update: We're playing one final session of my homebrew on the 26th, before starting something more prep-lite. Everyone plays evil PCs in the homebrew, so don't worry about character history, and be ready to murder!
Jan 9, 2014 1:18 PM - Slateskies: Fantastic!
Jan 8, 2014 12:22 PM - Kyle: I'm putting the word out for this group, hope to get some more takers.
Dec 23, 2013 10:16 AM - Kyle: Everyone have a great holiday (whichever one you celebrate, or better yet all of them)!!
