Apr 5, 2015 11:38 AM - MarcR: Thanks for playing, guys. Frank, just jump, what's the worst that can happen? With no Easter irreverence intended, I'm sure you can be resurrected.
Apr 5, 2015 10:37 AM - Frank: Awesome time yesterday Marc great story so far I'm just wondering how im gonna get down the rabbit hole lol
Apr 4, 2015 12:10 PM - kentmagus: and it appears I shall have train issues as well.
Apr 4, 2015 12:03 PM - kentmagus: I thought we started at 1, not 12 today!
Apr 4, 2015 11:47 AM - Rob R: bringing box of unpainted minis and mat. also subway issues
Apr 4, 2015 11:45 AM - MarcR: I'm at Port Authority waiting for a train...
Apr 4, 2015 11:33 AM - Frank: I'm here got a table
Apr 3, 2015 4:30 PM - kentmagus: I have some wet erase markers. Definitely blue, green, and red.
Apr 3, 2015 2:41 PM - MarcR: I've just been to my storage area, and some of my gaming stuff is buried too deep to dig out today. I'm asking for help from you guys in the way of minis, a battle mat, and some markers. Doable? Thanks in advance!
Mar 31, 2015 4:12 PM - kentmagus: I think I'm going with a human cavalier paladin instead of the elven eldritch knight.
Mar 31, 2015 2:24 PM - ANGE: I think I'm multi-classing for versatility and support.. probably something that can dispell stuff. Since I see we have a lot of half spell caster (Rogue trickster, Eldritch Knight, Paladin) and a cleric??
Mar 31, 2015 1:47 PM - ANGE: I'm with Rob on the Flanking... From the DMG I been using Lingering Injuries and Morale check on high damage blows in some of my campaigns and it makes the games more realistic and fun, but its really up to you, after all is more work on your side.
Mar 29, 2015 8:03 PM - kentmagus: Might change my character class and race preference. Still deciding. I have no opinion on flanking.
Mar 29, 2015 12:28 PM - Frank: I'm with rob on the flanking I can live without it personally I like not having to stress too much on who goes into what position
Mar 29, 2015 12:16 PM - Kirsten: You're driving. :)
Mar 29, 2015 12:05 PM - Rob R: personally not a fan of flanking. the additional bonus is much larger in this edition. then brings up the slow down with everyone worrying about "perfect" positioning, imho ymmv abc123
Mar 29, 2015 11:55 AM - MarcR: BTW, the game time is supposed to be noon on the 4th. Meanwhile, do we want to use optional rules? First, there's the combat options such as flanking found in the DMG. And then, I've printed out the Elemental Evil online supplement to 5E. I'm open to playing with these if the rest of you would like to use them.
Mar 25, 2015 6:59 PM - Wade: If you want to pull off bladesinger type moves like attacking with your sword then getting off a cantrip in the same action then you're probably better off going eldritch knight until at least level 7 when that ability clicks in.
Mar 25, 2015 5:26 PM - kentmagus: I'm going to bring my bladesinger. My choices are between between full eldritch knight or multiclassed fighter/wizard. High elf, of course.
Mar 25, 2015 2:38 PM - Kirsten: I'll play my backup elf fighter from the Tree of Life campaign.
Mar 25, 2015 12:43 PM - Rob R: I am thinking of playing some cleric of some type. Most likely full cleric.
Mar 25, 2015 10:41 AM - Frank: Orin lvl 8 Fey Knight Paladin
Mar 25, 2015 10:38 AM - ANGE: May I ask what everyone is playing or thinking of bringing.
Mar 24, 2015 2:03 PM - Wade: No prob. Looks like others have a campaign game this weekend anyways.
Mar 24, 2015 2:00 PM - MarcR: Unfortunately, I'm not ready. Getting sick this past weekend really put a delay on my preparation. I'll be using the 28th to prepare for the 4th.
Mar 24, 2015 1:51 PM - Wade: um. well, my plans this Saturday cancelled. So, if I was the one holding us back from playing the 28th, then I'm available.
Mar 22, 2015 12:51 AM - ANGE: @Frank I can play monk/warlock its a fun build too.. or something else I have a couple of pc options from other games that are around level 8 so just play what you want to play...
Mar 21, 2015 11:05 PM - MarcR: I think I had food poisoning. Since I got up around 6pm I've slowly been feeling better, thanks. It's fine, we can start at 8, the opposition just gets tougher ;-)
Mar 21, 2015 6:45 PM - Frank: The lvl 8 one is the one I have printed out from 4E but like I said you're the boss Marc and feel better bro
Mar 21, 2015 6:43 PM - MarcR: Did you actually reach 8th level, or was that in preparation for if you got enough XP? Anyone else remember? We can certainly start at 8th if that is right and fair. BTW, good thing we didn't plan on today, I've been sick in bed most of the day :-(
Mar 21, 2015 11:44 AM - Wade: I was going to play my halfling rogue as an arcane trickster, but if you want to slap on the rouge and try and pull off some Bugs Bunny type seductions I say go for it!
Mar 21, 2015 9:39 AM - Frank: I found my old character sheet shows lvl 8 but you're the boss Marc 7 it is no arguments here I'm excited to play I'll see you guys the 4th and I'm bringing the Fey Knight Paladin Orin
Mar 21, 2015 1:47 AM - MarcR: Okay, switched to the 4th. I've been trying to remember at what level my previous game ended. Let's do this at 7, unless there's a reason to do 8 (aside from "more powerful").
Mar 20, 2015 8:16 PM - ANGE: Rouge trickster or Monk/Warlock if picked..
Mar 19, 2015 10:24 PM - Kirsten: I can take it!
Mar 19, 2015 7:53 AM - Frank: @ Rob, don't worry my man if you wanna try out cleric have at it I don't mind playing the paladin gives my character some flavor plus I can't let Kirsten always take the punches
Mar 19, 2015 3:30 AM - Frank: I'm good for March 28 and April 4th my daughters birthday party is April 11th only day I'm not good for
Mar 19, 2015 1:53 AM - MarcR: Okay, how about the 5th of April?
Mar 19, 2015 12:52 AM - Frank: Yes Bill is back
Mar 19, 2015 12:36 AM - Wade: I'm busy on the 28th, but I started building Amser Galdrybrook as a 7th level arcane trickster with a weasel familiar named Bill!
Mar 18, 2015 11:33 PM - Rob R: If you prefer the cleric I can make something else. Just wanted to make sure we had a full cleric.
Mar 18, 2015 10:44 PM - Frank: I just wanna know if we are gonna continue at lvl 8 or are we 7 cause the two points and spell slot does make a difference
Mar 18, 2015 10:42 PM - Frank: I had a cleric and a paladin ready for this game cause. Wasn't sure what I wanted to do but thank you Rob form making up my mind
Mar 18, 2015 10:06 PM - Rob R: I will play a cleric
Mar 18, 2015 9:55 PM - Kirsten: I hope I can join the party!
Mar 17, 2015 9:27 PM - MarcR: Just a provisional date, we can move it back if needed.
